Our Client is a 300 + bed not-for profit acute care hospital in Central Florida
Coordinates an effective program for the surveillance, prevention, and control of healthcare-acquired infection. Assumes the role of leader in planning, directing, and managing the program to ensure quality outcomes and service on a 24-hour basis. Meets regulatory standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, promotes teamwork with physicians and all healthcare providers, promotes internal and external customer satisfaction, and appropriately manages resources. Responsible for the strategic planning, management, and direction of the Infection Prevention & Control department in order to meet the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required
- Florida nursing license or eligible for Florida State license
- Certified by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) preferred or completed within 24 months.
- 3-5 years of Infection Prevention & Control experience within acute care setting required.
