Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or related qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting roles, showcasing your expertise.
- Experience with Trucking and Freight billing (3PL trucking agencies, LTL and misc freight) required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop.
- Highly skilled in Excel, enabling accurate data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Staff Accountant Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Accounting team in the month-end closing process, including handling payroll entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare meticulous monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Provide backup support for AR/AP functions.
- Offer administrative support to the Operations Team, ensuring seamless operations.
- Assist in Purchase Order (PO) processing, contributing to efficient procurement.
- Contribute to the management of rentals and vehicle fleet assets.
- Take on ad hoc duties as assigned to support various financial activities.
