We have an Excellent opportunity as a Branch Manager located in the Southwestern part of the Greater Atlanta area with a Major Commercial Foodservice Equipment Parts and Service Organization. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of managing a profit center (Branch) and have a valid drivers license with a good driving record and knowledge of the Commercial Foodservice Equipment Parts and Service Industry.

The Branch Manager has total responsibility for the management of their profit center. Their primary function is to insure that their customer’s expectations are always me or exceeded. Other responsibilities include:

  • Profit goal attainment
  • Asset control
  • Performing the “optimal performance activities” for branch managers which are outlined in a separate document
  • Personnel management
  • Advertising and sales promotion, especially:
  • Developing personal relationship with equipment dealers and manufacturer’s representatives
  • Maintaining the best possible relationships with competitors
  • Learning the jobs of subordinates in order to fill in for them during vacations and job openings
  • Personal approval of employee reports and payroll reports
  • Self-reliance in day to day , common sense business decisions
  • With multi-unit supervisor participation:
  • Creating an annual business plan and budget
  • Setting labor, freight, mileage and PMP price policy
  • Determining pay increases
  • Hiring
  • Capital expenditures (office equipment, major building repairs and renovation, vehicles)

Branch Manager – Job Specification

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of successful profit center management
  • Valid driver’s license & good driving record
  • High School Graduate
