Our client provides exceptional integrated healthcare experiences between their providers and patients and has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced (RN) Registered Nurse Director/Administrator/Nurse Manager who can fully manage a high volume busy outpatient surgery center while assuring the best outcomes for surgeons and patients alike. Through innovation, flexibility and a customer-centric approach, our client is passionate about enabling their physician partners to provide the best possible experience and outcome for their patients.
This position requires direct involvement and often a hands-on approach to obtain an understanding of the surgical environment, physicians, patients, and staff. This new center is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology primarily focusing on ophthalmic and interventional pain procedures. Additional specialties will be added as the ASC continues to grow at a rapid pace.
You must bring a patient-centered focus, teamwork and collaboration, safety standards, excellent planning and time management skills as well as be able to independently lead and manage a staff of Nurses, Technicians, and Administrative personnel.
You must be able to manage and address performance, select personnel, scheduling, payroll, training, infection control, and patient satisfaction. You will wear many hats, go into the Operating Room, manage the staff, work physicians, do budgeting, financials. "total operations" The director has about 38 employees of which 20 are full time. This is a very busy ASC that does over 3,800 procedures annually. The procedures include orthopedics, ophthalmology, some pediatrics and pain management.
RN, ADN, BSN, Masters preferred
Must be out of an Ambulatory Surgery Center or Acute Care Hospital
CNOR is a plus
Able to integrate business objectives with regulatory compliance and patient care.
You will be involved in direct patient care. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent judgment.
Must have 3 - 5 years experience in an Ambulatory Care Center or Hospital.
