We have an outstanding opportunity for an Embedded Electronic Controls Engineer who is strong in software and hardware development for electronic controls, microcontrollers. You will have free reign to work with clients and sales professionals in developing timers, power supplies, ignition controls, temperature sensors and industrial controls. Located in the general greater Chicago and O'Hare Airport area, the commute will be easy. If you are a strong candidate and not living in Chicago, our client will assist with relocation. The primary responsibilities will be project level organization of preliminary design specifications, working with sales, customer, quality, and engineering management to build a complete product design specification. Initial hardware design, documentation and, supervision of prototype technician for breadboard construction. The engineer should also be familiar with the software development and debug necessary for the product application. Both assembly and ‘C’ code are used. Most products utilize a mix of microcontroller based moderate power switching, and some analog signal handling. (op-amp, transistor, thyristor)
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered. Minimum of 1-10 years’ experience in control design and software.
