Registered Nurse - RN Manager Operating Room (OR)

The RN (OR) Operating Room Manager is responsible for organizing, planning, managing and evaluating clinical and management activities in the perioperative units. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will actively participate in the management activities and overall operations of the Perioperative Service Line.
11 rooms and 98 staff members. It is the main OR which includes CVOR.
Requires knowledge of the standards, practices, tools/equipment relating to the management of perioperative services. The OR Nurse Manager participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working towards attaining the mission and objectives of the organization.
The Registered Nurse Manager - RN also be responsible for the operations, staff management, and development, regulatory compliance, budget, performance/quality improvement, short and long-term planning.
Education/Work Experience Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, and four years related work that would demonstrate attainment of requisite job knowledge/abilities, including two years in a charge nurse/leadership position (or equivalent).
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing or eligible.
Specialty certification (e.g. CNOR, Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse [CPAN], Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse [CAPN] is preferred.
Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
