This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to bring your unique talents to the role of Endoscopy Nurse Manager in the Operating Room. The nurse manager is knowledgeable of and ensures that supervised associates are familiar with policies and procedures; establishes effective communication between all departments; collaborates with numerous departments to create a productive, efficient, and effective work environment; works with the Executive Director of Surgical Services in coordination with the Operating Room Committee and serves as an active member to implement the Rules and Regulations of the OR. Maintains accurate statistical information; supervises the surgery scheduler and surgery billing personnel; responsible for managing the computerized scheduling system; collaborates with numerous departments to create a productive, efficient, and effective work environment.
At least 3-4 years of previous management experience in a Hospital Surgical Services Department;
Budgetary experience is necessary for the management position.
FL RN license
(CGRN) Certification required Certification Gastroenterology Nurse
