Project Coordinating Manager

The Project Coordinating Manager manages house brand and contract new projects in the cosmetic industry. Responsibilities include the coordination and oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible, understood and on schedule.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE COSMETIC MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.

Responsibilities for but not limited to:

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate time line charts, cost analysis forms and project tracker spreadsheets
  • Scope and define each project’s objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring cost analysis are feasibility to proceed
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, timelines and process maps to document needs
  • Packaging development experience or an understanding in cosmetic packaging
  • Follow projects from start to completion then end task on project tracker
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Write up new project process plan
  • Train new hires

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in the Beauty Industry as project coordinator or in cosmetic manufacturing
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent people-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Base Camp and Power Point
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
