Controller Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Manchester, NH, 5 days a week.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Controller Duties

  • Manage operational accounting processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Ownership of month, quarter, and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy of financial data.
  • Produce monthly financial statements and reports for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and variances.
  • Perform high-level Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including reporting, analysis, and budgeting to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Oversee Cost Analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process efficiency.
  • Implement process improvements to strengthen financial policies and procedures, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
