Project Designer/Architectural Designer – Commercial Foodservice Design
We are working with a well-regarded foodservice solutions company that focuses on the designing and building of commercial kitchens, serveries, dining areas and standalone concepts. We are looking for a Project Designer with a focus on architectural design and FF&E Specification. You should be a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic and growing environment and is familiar with the foodservice industry or has a strong desire to learn and develop.
Work Realities:
Our Client Has a collaborative thinking environment. You’ll need to be able to work in a team setting involving other designers, business development, project coordinators and interior designers. Our ideal candidate will need to be proficient in juggling multiple projects with fast-paced deadlines and must think aesthetically and technically when designing.
Duties:
The applicant will be responsible for creating design and construction documents. He/she will deliver comprehensive, high-quality drawings and specifications using Revit (most of our drawings are produced in this software), AutoCAD, KCL and AutoQuotes. Our ideal candidate will also have top-notch communication skills, the ability to take a conceptual design and convert it to construction drawings, and the talent to design a space from scratch.
Skills:
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Develop designs and drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of KCL and AutoQuotes is a benefit but not required.
Education:
A two-year associate degree in drafting and design is preferred, but if you have solid experience, lots of energy and a desire to take on new challenges don’t hesitate to apply.
Experience:
