Compressed Air Sales Specialist - Ohio

Sales Specialist Responsibilities
- Make sales calls
- Serve as a product support resource to develop the best equipment solutions for applications
- Develop drawings and bills of materials as required to support projects
- Assist with start-ups and provide training as required
- Manage assigned accounts
- Prepare quotes
- Develop leads for new customers
- Follow up on sales leads provided by vendors and internal sources
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendors
- Attend all required meetings and training
Sales Specialist Qualifications
- Experience in sales or technical service of industrial air compressors and/or rotating equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership potential is highly desired.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel to customer locations approximately 70% of the workday
- Occasional overnight travel and odd hours may be required
- Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities under sometimes stressful conditions
- Participation in continuing education programs offered by vendors and the company
