Accounting Manager / Controller Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience: Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and inspire a small team.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent Communication: Both written and verbal, to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Accounting Manager / Controller Duties

• Manage Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, prepare financial forecasts, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Support Business Growth: Partner with senior management to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for senior management.
