Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team, focusing on the K-12 schools and foodservice sectors. The ideal candidate will drive growth by developing strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities within the K-12 schools and foodservice industries. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school administrators and foodservice providers. - Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs. - Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business growth and achieve sales targets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions that meet client requirements. - Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients. - Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field within K-12 schools and foodservice sectors. - Strong understanding of the K-12 educational system and foodservice industry standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
