Construction Project Manager - NYC - Commercial Foodservice Projects
We have an excellent opportunity for a entry level Construction Project Manager in the Commercial Foodservice Industry. Our client is a fast-growing company looking to expand their contact sales department. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our Contract Sales Team as a Construction Project Manager. The PMs goal is to take 100% ownership of all aspects of assigned projects. Responsibilities will include planning, and overseeing all aspects of the projects from when the project was awarded until the completion of the job. This position is to be located in the NY/NYC/NJ Area and requires frequent travel into NYC.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Review projects and prepare submittal packages.
- Jobsite visits and project status
- Scheduling subcontractors
- Field measurements
- Releasing orders into the project
- Manage project until completion
- Coordination with other trades
- Schedule installation and delivery dates
- Closing projects, punch list review.
Qualifications and skills:
- Comprehension of reading drawings
- Frequent travel is required.
- Effective communicator
- Great organizational skills
