Corporate Accounting Manager Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in a Big 4 Accounting firm
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing accounting team
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in an ERP system and advanced Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent Communication: Both written and verbal, to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Corporate Accounting Manager Duties
- Oversee Financial Reporting Compliance: Ensure that financial statements comply with SEC regulations, GAAP, and other applicable standards, including timely filing of quarterly and annual reports (10-Q, 10-K).
- Manage Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts, journal entries, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Internal Controls and SOX Compliance: Implement and maintain internal control procedures in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.
- Manage Accounting Team: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
