Director of Bid-Contracts Commercial Foodservice
Job Description
The Director of Bid-Contracts will lead and oversee the bid and contracts process within the organization. This role involves strategizing, managing, and executing bids and contracts to ensure successful outcomes and alignment with business objectives. The Director will collaborate with key stakeholders in estimating, manufacturing, purchasing, project management, and finance/accounting to optimize bid strategies and contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement bid strategies to secure new business opportunities.
- Lead the autonomous team's preparation, review, and submission of bids and proposals.
- Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform bid strategies.
- Collaborate with key-stakeholders in cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for bid initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of contracts and recommend improvements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bid management and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of contracts.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.- Must work on-site in either Greater Seattle, Salt Lake City, or Denver
