Our acute care medical center seeks a dynamic Director of Women's Services to lead our growing Labor and Delivery department. Key Responsibilities for Director of Women's Services:

- Strategic Oversight: You will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction and daily operations of a thriving Labor and Delivery department. 

- Patient Care Excellence: Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS standards, and internal policies, championing the highest quality of care for every patient. 

- Community Engagement: Actively engage with the community and inspire your team to participate in local events and initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to women's health. 

- Holistic Management: Oversee performance improvement, human resources, fiscal management, and staff development, all while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience. 

- Collaborative Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, to ensure the highest level of patient care. 

Who You Are: 

We are looking for a dedicated nursing professional with: 

- A passion for excellence in obstetrical care. 

- A graduate from a board-approved nursing program with a current RN license in North Carolina or eligible.

- A BSN degree 

- At least 5 years of recent obstetrical clinical experience, with a minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience. 

- Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications. 

Preferred Qualifications:

- STABLE certification (to be obtained within six months of hire)
