Hospitalist Medical Director – Manchester, CT – Partnership Opportunity

American Recruiters, a Forbes-ranked top 20 recruiting and executive search firm, has partnered with two Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Hospital Accreditation, acute-care community hospitals. They have an exciting Hospitalist Medical Director opportunity in their highly celebrated hospitals in Manchester, and Vernon, CT. This position is a Mon-Fri position. The Medical Director must work 7, 12-hour clinical shifts per month from Mon-Fri. The remaining shifts worked are administrative shifts from Mon-Fri.

The Hospitalist Medical Director leads a team of 16 FTE Physician Hospitalists and a team of Advanced Practitioner Hospitalists that operate the hospitalist programs at two neighboring facilities.

Hospitalist Medical Director Program Information:

• 7 On / 7 Off Block Scheduling
• The team rotates to a smaller facility if needed
• Open ICU – co-managed with Intensivist but is transitioning to closed
• No Procedures Required
• No Call
• No Cath Lab on-site, patients presenting will get transferred out
• Hospitalists respond to codes w/ Rapid Response Team
• Connecticut License Preferred
• Must be ABIM with recent leadership experience in Hospital Medicine as an Assistant Medical Director or Director
• Meditech EMR

Hospitalist Medical Director Benefit Package:
