Job Description


WANTED: A FOODSERVICE SAVVY CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE 

You will be responsible for assisting institutional sales with quotes, orders, bids, customer inquiries, and problem resolution.

• Initiate quote requests to manufacturers and manufacturer reps
• Process orders and quotes (including AQ) within one business day when applicable
• Customer quote/order follow-up, as needed
• Provide project support to the appropriate SR (renovations, start-ups)
• Add value to the customer and company by cross-selling and up-selling appropriate products
• Support applicable customer accounts coded as ‘HOUSE’
• Update customer records in Business Central & CRM
• Manage relevant inbound calls promptly and make outbound calls as needed
• With discretion and independent judgment, solve customer issues quickly and effectively
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Skills Required:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Clear and pleasant phone voice using appropriate diction
• Compose business letters, e-mails, and quotations free from errors
• Utilize basic math skills for business purposes
• Thorough understanding of customer relations, operations, marketplace, sales, and profitability
• Ability to diagnose customer problems and prescribe effective solutions
• Conscientious, organized, detail and result oriented
