Imaging MRI Manager - Greater Austin, TX
We seek a highly experienced and dedicated MRI Imaging leader to join our team in the Greater Austin area of TX.
Join our:
- Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center
- High-volume, high-complexity cases
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership experience in MRI imaging and hold appropriate certifications in ARMRIT and ARRT-M.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a high-volume, high-complexity MRI department.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow, streamline processes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of MRI technologists, Assistants and LVNs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize patient scheduling, resource utilization, and patient turnaround times.
- Monitor and ensure proper maintenance of MRI equipment.
- Manage department budget, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on departmental activities and performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in MRI imaging.
- Appropriate Certification ARMRIT, ARRT-M.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
