The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically skilled, customer-focused, and process-driven — able to take concepts from ideation through product launch with excellence and efficiency. Lead New Product Development (NPD): Drive the full lifecycle of product development from ideation and concept generation through prototyping, validation, production handoff, and market launch.
Project Management: Own timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder coordination across multiple NPD projects. Deliver results that meet both customer and company expectations.
Team Management: Manage the NPD engineering department and assign projects based on team and individual skill sets. Establish goals, processes, and accountability.
Commercial foodservice equipment, hands-on with AutoCAD, stainless steel fabrication design, and electromechanical assembly.
Lead Mechanical Design Engineers and a Lab Technician build prototypes, meet clients.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in new product development or R&D.
