National Vending Development Executive
Job Description
The National Vending Development Executive (NVDE) position will work closely with the National Affiliate Program Executive (NAPE) to drive ice machine and managed services revenue through large accounts, and vending channel partners. In this role, the NVDE will target vending companies to create ice machine subscriptions and managed services partnerships with vending companies end-users. This work will focus on three main areas: 1) Identify new vending channel opportunities and work closely with our vending channel partners to get end customers to prefer and request our client's services and managed services. 2) Work together with Outside Sales Account Specialist to develop a proactive plan for managing the vending partners in their territories. 3) Work closely with the Director of Affiliate Programs to capture 3rd party opportunities with vending partners throughout the US.
The NVDE will work closely with the customer-facing Service Delivery, Corporate Sales, and Sales organization to ensure our client is successful at meeting the end customers expectations and our vending partner's expectations within the constraints of our client's delivery capabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research potential vending partners to determine the prospects with the highest probability of purchasing Subscription Services, and/or Managed Services.
- Lead the development of customized sales messages, presentations, and deliverables based on the knowledge and buying behavior of vending partners and customers. Work collaboratively with other departments to develop these work products.
- Navigate what an Affiliate Vendor might see as a potentially disruptive relationship between Easy Ice and the end customer while creating demand for client services directly from the end customer, and vending partner relationship.
- Leverage resources effectively to open opportunities, build credibility, and secure decisions from vending partners and end customers.
- Within the vending space, seek to become an Approved solution with the large vending corporations. Research and advise the sales and marketing organizations on vending shows, collateral, and market segment-specific events and changes.
- Provide Executive Team and Affiliate Program Director with strategies for achieving goals and objectives and regular updates of KPIs designed to ensure results.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Degree or 8+ years of related experience Experience:
- 8 or more years of experience in sales-related roles Travel: Must be able to travel overnight as needed; Travel may be up to 50% of the position.
