Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Director to lead our Cardiovascular Services department. As the Nursing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of excellence within our cardiovascular services department. Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Cardiovascular Services department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to quality standards.

- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practices and initiatives.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.

- Manage department budgets, resources, and staffing needs to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in cardiovascular nursing, and integrate them into departmental operations.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

- Act as a liaison between the Cardiovascular Services department and other departments within the organization, fostering effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in cardiovascular services

- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular nursing practices, procedures, and technologies

- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

- Proven track record of achieving quality outcomes and operational efficiencies

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards in cardiovascular services
