Responsibilities Of Occupational Therapist
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients under physician orders
- Assist patients in performing activities of daily living including dressing, cooking, eating, and more
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on use of adaptive equipment like wheelchairs, splints, and feeding aids
- Maintain timely and accurate patient treatment records and documentation.
- Follow company policies and meet state and federal regulations for occupational therapy
`Requirements of Occupational Therapist
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure in FL as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with patients across the lifespan, particularly in geriatric and long term care settings.
- Proficiency in occupational health, and medical terminology.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on providing quality care.
- Must be able to lift 5-45 lbs
LTC and SNF exp preferred but New grads are welcome
Skilled Nursing Facility-onsite daily
