The primary function of this position is to manage the day to day operations of the facility. This role will provide leadership and direction in the areas of safety, quality control, production, cost improvements, and delivery performance. Responsibilities also include attaining manufacturing and customer driven KPI's.

Must have strong experience in Discrete Manufacturing, Sheetmetal fabrication and assembly, welding environment.

Maximize plant efficiency, product quality, factory throughput, and delivery performance.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability in all aspects of plant operations, resulting in the safe production of quality products and services.
Initiate plans and standard operating procedures which improve manufacturing processes and manufacturing cost through effective utilization of material, overhead and labor.
Controls spending against budget and in response to changes in production volume.
Implement effective manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that production departments support and align with corporate strategic initiatives.
Implements appropriate metrics to measure effective customer satisfaction, quality, and production performance.
Ensures adherence to safety practices which minimizes risk of injury and promotes good housekeeping and facility cleanliness objectives.
Ensures that all company policies are implemented and followed.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated accomplishments in process improvements
Skilled in identifying and solving problems and ability of making independent decision to solve problems
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong background in continuous improvement (Lean, Cellular Manufacturing, Kaizen, etc.)
Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems

Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing, advanced degree such as an MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 -15 years of manufacturing experience
