Product LIne Manager

Job Description
If you are a rock-solid product line manager who can define and maintain 3-5 year product strategy and road map for one of client's key product lines, and you would love to live in a major city in Texas, this could be for you.
Some prerequisites:
-Leadership and analysis of all category project management activities
-Maintain constant pulse of Foodservice & Beverage market developments, including consumer needs, competitive offerings and brand position
-Follow industry trends and conduct capability analysis regularly
-Understand and articulate voice of customer and translate into product definition.
-Able to make trade-off comparisons to drive decision that deliver on success criteria
-Champion vision for category development and present the analytical data that supports reasoning for organizational buy in on new product lines. Communicate with executives and other teams within the company
-Review revenue and profits on a weekly basis and be able to suggest approaches to marketing and sales in order to drive growth
-Identify and cultivate business development relationships with our sales teams and customers
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to influence without authority
- Ability to be innovative in meeting overall goals of the product line
- Proven leadership skills and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, communication and customer skills
- Understanding of global food and beverage markets
- Demonstrate experience in planning, budgeting and developing business strategies
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
Education & Experience
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred)
- 7 plus years of Product Management experience preferred
- Extensive project management experience required
- Experience with strategic planning and managing a category P&L in excess of $10 Million preferred
