Director of Quality & Risk Management | Acute Care Hospital | Central California
- A well-established, full-service acute care hospital in Central California is seeking an experienced Quality and Risk Management Director to join its senior leadership team.
- This is a critical role for an organization known for its advanced cardiac, neonatal, stroke, and trauma programs.
- Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director will have full oversight of the hospital's quality and performance improvement programs, patient safety initiatives, peer review, infection control, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- The right person will be comfortable working in a complex, high-volume environment with multiple service lines and physician specialties.
What we are looking for:
- A director-level quality/risk professional with a minimum of five to seven years of direct experience in an acute hospital setting. Strong working knowledge of Joint Commission standards, California state regulations, and CMS requirements is essential.
- Candidates should have a demonstrated track record leading performance improvement initiatives, interpreting outcomes data, and driving organizational change across diverse clinical teams.
- A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in a health-related field is required.
- Relevant certifications in quality management/risk are a plus.
Compensation:
