Radiographer X-Ray Technologist Benefit Package:

Pay Rate: Up to $27.00 per hour based on experience

Shifts: Day shifts

Shift Diff: Weekends $2.00; On Call: $3.00

Radiographer X-Ray Technologist Required Experience:

  • 1-year experience within a hospital setting (required)

Radiographer X-Ray Technologist Education Qualifications:

  • Graduation from ARRT Accredited Program (required)

Radiographer X-Ray Technologist License and Certification Requirements:

  • ARRT Certification and Registration (required)
  • State of Florida Certification (required)

Radiographer X-Ray Technologist Job Summary:

  • Performs a full range of General Radiology procedures including but not limited to: Portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies, and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment.
  • Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting.
  • Responsible for confirming order/correct patient/correct exam and entering exam in Meditech.
  • Must obtain quality images including both technical and positional factors.
  • Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
  • Responsible for confirming patient demographics and lead markers before processing/QA and releasing image and assuring all Stat procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.
  • Adapts to schedule changes including call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays.
  • Follows policies and procedures of our client Hospital.
  • Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to our clients standards of behavior.
