Regional Sales Manager - Western States - Commercial Dinnerware
Job Description
The Western Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share in the hotel and restaurant industry within the Western region of the US through direct contact with end-users and management of our distributor and rep-group networks. Qualified candidates will also have Sales experience with contacts in the hospitality industry (restaurants and hotels).
Responsibilities
- Create incremental sales by building new end-user relationships, identify new markets and secure customers within the hospitality industry of the Western region. Maintain and enhance relationships with current end-users toward future sales growth.
- Pursue new business with distributors and provide training to their sales teams. Manage order and delivery timelines as needed and handle administrative tasks related to factory rep group commissions.
- Effectively manage an expense budget while making regular sales calls virtually and in-person.
- Study industry trends, attend industry trade shows, conferences, sales meetings and identify new networking opportunities
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study such as Business or Hotel Management.
- 5+ years of experience selling to the hospitality sector.
- Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams are standard tools for you.
- You currently live in the Western region of the United States.
- You are authorized to work in the United States.
- Salesforce experience a plus
Requirements
- Must be able to travel approximately 30 – 40% of the time
