Job Description

Sales Engineer - Air Technologies

Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer, where you'll spearhead sales initiatives and bolster market presence. Your role will involve identifying new business prospects, fostering strong client relationships, and delivering outstanding sales outcomes. Leveraging your technical prowess in vacuum and air technology, you'll provide invaluable insights and solutions, establishing our company as a trusted ally in our clients' success.

Sales Engineer Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve targets and expand national market share.
  • Identify and cultivate new leads, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Sales Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within vacuum and air technology.
  • Strong knowledge of vacuum systems, compressors, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Exceptional communication, focused on conveying technical information to diverse clients.
  • Demonstrated capability in building and sustaining long-term client relationships.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a history of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and deal closure, with experience navigating complex sales cycles.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required.
