HVAC Service Technician Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service various HVAC systems including Hydronic, Steam, Chilled Water, DX, Forced Air, Heat Pump, VAV, Constant Volume, Exhaust, Heat Recovery, Sheet Metal Ducting, and related mechanical systems.
- Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are well-maintained.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all safety requirements and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Be flexible to work extended shifts when necessary (overtime may be required).
- Maintain a professional appearance while representing the company.
- 8-hour shifts, M-F with on-call availability (OT)
HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:
- Experience as a Commercial/Industrial Service Technician.
- Proficient in service and repair of HVAC/R equipment, including electrical, refrigeration, gas oil, VAV/mixing boxes, fan boxes, controls, VRF, VFD, CRAC, DX, water source heat pumps (WSHP), chillers, boilers, and related hydronic equipment.
- Possess a valid driver's license and CFC certification (Universal).
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
