SQF QUALITY MANAGER.  Make an Impact, and have a voice in QA. 

Our client, a family-owned growth Paper Converting Company desires to hire an SQF Quality Food Safety Manager. They are a highly successful, stable, and respected supplier to the foodservice industry specializing in providing customized paper packaging solutions.  This opportunity will provide leadership to manage the Quality and Food Safety Programs and introduce initiatives that will ensure overall compliance with internal and regulatory food packaging safety practices. They continually invest in technology, people, and process improvements.  Up to six-figure income with great benefits.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of quality control experience in small to mid-size printing, paper, or packaging manufacturing environment.  Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
At least 3 years leading a team.  Experience with FDA regulations and standards that apply to food packaging and food safety
Have knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean principals

Review and update company-wide cleaning, sanitation, and food safety program.
Monitor facility to ensure compliance with GMPs, and facility sanitation, and maintain GFSI certification and SQF level 2.
