Senior Staff Accountant Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field. Strong GAAP knowledge
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and data analytics
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

Senior Staff Accountant Duties

• Financial Management: Oversee financial bookkeeping, including Sales and Accounts Receivable, while producing regular financial and sales reports.
• General Ledger: Reconcile general ledger accounts such as sales tax, deferred revenue, and commissions.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current financial processes and recommend efficiencies for FP&A systems.
• Audit Support: Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual audits.
• Data Analysis: Help the Controller develop financial models and provide insights through KPI tracking and variance analysis.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal control systems.
• Collaboration: Foster relationships across departments to ensure effective communication and project success.
