Senior Accountant
Are you ready to join a rapidly growing team that values collaboration? This is a newly created position to partner with the Corporate Controller and you will be able to take on as much responsibility as you can handle. Your main responsibility will be focused on month end close but you will also have to spend one week/month invoicing; which allows you to be a part of the Operations side of the business and not just Accounting. Great opportunity for you to work closely with the Controller and CFO and grow your career.

Senior Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with U.S. GAAP
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with month end close
- Willingness to invoice one week per month and more if necessary
Senior Accountant Duties
- Directs and oversees the month end close functions of the company by preparing journal entries
- Reconciles GL accounts and balance sheet
- Generate, input, and send invoices to customers accurately and timely
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up or take appropriate actions on overdue accounts
- Foster relationships and coordinate with customers and co-workers to resolve any billing issues
- Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and oversees compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
- Participates in annual financial audit which includes developing audit schedule, ensuring required documentation is prepared in a timely manner, and interacting with the auditors
- Assists with the integration of future acquisitions
