This is your new job:
Financial analysis of product lines between actual and estimates; ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements; analyzes financial statements, difficult general ledger accounts, and financial processes.
Ensure the analysis and reporting of all product line project cost accounting. Analyze variances between actual project costs and estimates.
Establish procedures and maintains control of all Contracts and Contract Variances.
Maintain FIFO inventory system, monitors and analyzes cycle count program and ensures proper valuation. Coordinate the annual physical inventory. Maintain the Fixed Asset system.
Prepare detailed financial statements, variance reports. Prepare special financial reports.
Maintain and test compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, including periodic updates of documentation and coordinating testing requirements.
Work closely with Internal, External and Government auditors in providing and documenting required financial information.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Prefer Minimum of ten years progressive accounting experience including experience in cost accounting.
