Commercial Foodservice Technicians - Orange County, CA - Commercial Fooodservice Equipment Service and Installation
We have and outstanding opportunities for Service Technicians with well established Commercial Foodservice Equipment Service and Installation Organization in the Southeast Area of Los Angeles CA. We have positions from Entry Level Apprentice to Master Certified Field Supervisors.

Qualifications:

Technical experience & mechanical aptitude is desired. Minimum of 2 yrs experience in Commercial Foodservice Equipment repair or equivalent industry experience.

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic Computer skills

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Proficient with hand tools, job-related specialty tools, and power tools.

Understanding/comprehension of proper safety procedures & situational awareness.

Motivated self-starter. Ability to follow through on assignments with minimal
supervision.

Great work ethic -Reliable, Hard Working, Positive Attitude, Always On-Time.

Eager/available to attend available training classes.

Must present oneself as honest, approachable, courteous and professional at all times.

Apprentice/Level 1 Installer:

1. Must complete basic Installation training.
2. Must be able to perform ‘Level 1’ installations with little or no supervision.
3. Able to assist & follow direction completing PM’s independently or w/ another tech.
4. Must be able/willing to install parts on jobs that have been previously diagnosed.
5. Must be willing/able to work with any technician in the department.
6. Must know and follow all company policies and procedures.

Junior Technician
1. Must be able to independently troubleshoot equipment.
2. Must be able to install parts on equipment the department works on.
3. Able to survey jobs (manpower requirements, hours, site specifics) for the installation of foodservice equipment with little or no supervision.
4. Must know and follow all company policies and procedures.

Technician
1. In addition to qualifications listed above, should be CFESA certified in Electrical and Gas.
2. Able to work independently on all foodservice equipment.
3. Able to perform On-Call duty rotation with your department.
4. Must know and follow all company policies and procedures.

Senior Technician
1. Must be a CFESA master-certified technician or possess equivalent work experience.
2. Able to work independently on any piece of equipment the department services.
3. Able/willing to assist in training other technicians.
4. Must know and follow all company policies.
5. Must exemplify the model employee by strictly adhering to & promoting company policies, procedures and best practices

Field Supervisor
1. Must possess all qualifications listed above. CFESA Master Certified Tech.
2. Must be a resource to other technicians on every piece of equipment the department services. 3. Develop and implement departmental training for other technicians.
4. Ability to assist with scheduling.
5. Able to professionally resolve customer and/or technician disputes.
6. Must exemplify the model employee by strictly adhering to & promoting company policies, procedures and best practices.
7. At the direction of the Department Manager, must be able to manage departmental operations for a short period of time.
8. Must be able to professionally represent the company to ALL customers and help to address & resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.
9. The Field Supervisor must be an unmistakable leader & mentor to all department technicians
