Tank Cleaner Foreman

As the Tank Cleaner Foreman, you'll play an integral role in our operations, combining leadership with hands-on duties. Like our field technicians, the Team Lead is the backbone of our company, often juggling various responsibilities to ensure our operations run smoothly.

Tank Cleaner Foreman Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Guide, train, and manage a team of 4 tank cleaning specialists, ensuring tasks are carried out safely and effectively.
- Equipment Operation: Handle vacuum trucks, hydro-blasters, pressure washers, and other heavy equipment essential to the tank cleaning process.
- Confined Space Work: Safely work and lead teams within confined spaces, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
- Spill Response: Participate and lead teams in oil and chemical spill cleanup operations.
- Safety Equipment Use: Regularly wear and oversee the correct usage of safety gear, including respirators and SCBA.
- Planning & Logistics: Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to schedule and streamline tank cleaning tasks.
- Continuous Reporting: Keep detailed logs and provide updates to upper management regarding tank cleaning activities.
Tank Cleaner Foreman Requirements:
- A proven ability to wear and work with respirators and SCBA.
- Openness to work overtime as required by the operations' needs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and agree to random drug screenings throughout employment.
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Confined space entry experience is essential.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- A commitment to uphold and champion safety standards at all times.
Tank Cleaner Foreman Preferred Qualifications:
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Previous experience or certification in confined space entry.
- Familiarity with equipment like vacuum trucks, hydro-blasters, and pressure washers.
