Tax Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Meaningful progress toward CPA is key
• Experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax services for small and medium-sized businesses.
• Proven expertise in tax planning, preparation, compliance, and research.
• Ideally, experience in managing tax engagements and leading a small team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate long-lasting client relationships.

Tax Professional Duties

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of tax clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Provide advanced tax planning, research, and advisory services tailored to client needs.
• Maintain strong client relationships, offering personalized financial solutions and expert guidance.
• Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development.
• Assist in the firm’s business development efforts by expanding the client base and contributing to strategic planning.
• Participate in firm growth discussions, including potential ownership or buyout opportunities.
