WESTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER--Foodservice Holding/Serving Equipment

LIVE ANYWHERE near a major airport in WESTERN USA.

We have a phenomenal opportunity for a rising star to be the WESTERN Regional manager of an industry leader. In three+ years, you would likely be the heir apparent to be the VP of Sales.

  • Direct and manage all rep firms and sales within the territory;
  • Develop and maintain communications with all levels of staff and customers to ensure a positive company image, teamwork, and attainment of goals;
  • Plan, forecast, market, organize, and implement sales program/plan for the region;
  • Conduct formal monthly meetings with Sales Reps to review sales performance and provide the VP, Sales, and Marketing with a report;
  • Specify and assist customers with specifying our client's products;
  • Build relationships and present products and capabilities in order to create sales opportunities to meet the sales plan for the region;
    • Foodservice equipment dealers
    • Consultants
    • Sales Rep firms
    • K-12 decision-makers
    • Industry associations
    • Other decision-makers as directed by Sales Plan
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations;
  • Participate in the development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Participate in trade show activities;
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets;
  • Provide sales and marketing expertise to the executive management team
  • Frequent travel is required, which could involve air and multiple overnight travels
  • Other support functions as required.


Five years of business, sales, and marketing experience or experience in K-12 food service areas;

  • Technical knowledge of food serving equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Technical understanding of fabrication is a plus
