Director of Quality

Our Client has partnered with one of this country's most prestigious Universities. They are seeking a Director of Quality who truly wants to be a part of a growing organization. They currently have approximately 600 employees, more than 75 physicians, and a lot of volunteers. They recently opened two new service lines (Wound Care and Pain Clinic) and are looking to expand more services in 2018. Our client is a community hospital, Less than a 30-minute drive from Lexington, KY with health clinics adjacent to the hospital, all fully accredited by The Joint Commission.

The Director of Quality develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
The Director of Quality directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
The Director of Quality plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. The Director of Quality prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits. The Director of Quality creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. The Director of Quality integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols

Bachelor's Degree Nursing (BSN), required
Master's Degree Nursing (MSN), preferred

Valid and current Kentucky RN state licensure or eligible
Basic Life Support (BLS)
