Field Service Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities
- Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs
- Document work performed using designated forms and submit reports to appropriate business units in a timely manner
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Parts and Sales Departments, to facilitate service to customers
- Perform other tasks as needed or assigned
Field Service Technician Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Driver's License with a clear Motor Vehicle Record
- 2+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience
- Ability to prioritize tasks with strong time management skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Keen attention to detail
- 1+ years of compressed air system maintenance experience preferred
- 1+ years of refrigeration equipment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA Section 608 Technician (Universal Refrigerant) Certification preferred
- ASSE 6040 (Medical Gas Maintenance Personnel) Certification preferred
