Account Executive - Manufacture's Rep Firm

We are working with one of the top foodservice manufacture's rep firms in Southern California. They are in immediate need of a true sales professional who will sell foodservice equipment, supplies, and tabletop sales in regional foodservice segments: Chains, Restaurants, Healthcare, K-12 Schools, College & Universities, Military & Corrections, and Catering & Hospitality

  •  
  • Responsible to drive regional sales, targets, and plan to meet manufacturer & our client's sales goals
  •  
  • Mentor, support, and collaborate with other regional Account Managers and the Customer Success team
  •  
  • Brand leader for all MVP products with the support of new promotional materials and samples
  •  
  • Lead presentations with new and existing customers. Present, demonstrate & review potential new products and opportunities from our represented manufacturers
  •  
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and customer sales meetings
  •  
  • Responsible for all regional lead implementation
  •  
  • Update and maintain regional accounts of customers, opportunities, and targets through Salesforce
  •  
  • Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and tact to portray the company and the manufacturers we represent in a positive manner
  •  
  • Daily travel within the territory with occasional customer visits outside of the local region
  •  
  •  
  • Compensation includes base salary and annual bonus, car allowance, mobile phone and tablet computer, participation in Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and 401K.
  •  

Education & Training: BS/BA in business, sales, food, or hospitality with 5-10 years of sales experience in the foodservice industry. Skills:

  •  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and social media
  •  
  • Good people skills to deal with customers and an enthusiastic personality
  •  
  • General knowledge of and/or experience in the foodservice industry
  •  
  • Self-Motivated, effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  •
