DIRECTOR OF CRITICAL CARE ICU
SUMMARY
The Director ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or other approved education plan - Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- 1+ years applicable experience - Required
- 3+ years applicable experience - Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support - Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
The hospital is a 234-bed acute care hospital located in NH. The hospital serves the Seacoast region's residents in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. This hospital is one of the area's largest employers. They are the only ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center on New Hampshire's Seacoast is the Seacoast's only comprehensive heart and vascular program. Also, the only Comprehensive Stroke Center on the Seacoast. We provide 7 comprehensive neurosurgical and stroke clot retrieval and aneurysm coiling programs for both ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
