Outside Sales Manager - NY/NJ - Commercial Foodservice Equipment and Supplies
We have an excellent opportunity for a Outside Sales Manager with a well-established and rapidly growing Dealer of Commercial Foodservice Equipment and Supplies.We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Manager to build and lead a new team of outside sales representatives in the Eastern Region. In this role, you will develop and manage your own book of business while mentoring and guiding junior sales reps. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in food service equipment sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.This is to be located in NY/NJ Area with an excellent Base Salary + Commissions with overides + Benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand  market presence across the East Coast/NYC region.
  2. Identify and prospect potential customers within the hospitality sector, including restaurants, hotels, resorts, catering businesses, and other foodservice establishments.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for their commercial foodservice equipment and supply needs.
  4. Conduct on-site visits and product demonstrations, showcasing offerings and providing expert guidance on product selection, installation, and usage.
  5. Collaborate closely with the inside sales team, product specialists, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services to clients.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, leveraging this knowledge to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
  7. Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote the brand and establish new connections within the commercial foodservice community.
  8. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations, effectively communicating the value proposition of  products and services.
  9. Track sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), providing regular updates and reports to management.
  10. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, adhering to company policies and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
  2. Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial foodservice industry or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of commercial foodservice equipment and supplies, including tabletop products, smallwares, kitchen equipment, and more.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  5. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and drive business growth in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools and technologies, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Willingness to travel extensively within the East Coast region/NYC, visiting clients, attending meetings, and participating in industry events as needed.
