Job Description
Strong Growth Company will hire an OEM Sales Engineer in the DFW market.
A leading global supplier of kitchen and refrigeration equipment to the food service industry.
Here is your new opportunity:
Work with customers and sales team to determine technical specifications for equipment and work with engineering and manufacturing departments to deliver new products. You will have direct contact for technical support with customers.
Engage with customers to create specifications and with other departments to deliver new products.
Support sales requests with Engineering Change Orders (ECO). Assist in sales-related activities as required (field visits, warranty requests, and training)
Source components and work with other designers to develop and build prototypes.
Requirements/Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial equipment design.
Experience in 3D Design Software Inventor preferred.
Ability to interact with customers and create designs based on their inputs.
Write specifications and project scope, design, and prototype creation/evaluation to rapidly commercialize new equipment.
Experience in sheet metal design material selection, welding, finishing, bend tolerances.
Travel as needed domestically, and to Mexico (less than 10%).
