Job Description

WESTERN REGIONAL SALES MANAGER--FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT

We are working on a quick hire for a new client who is exceptional in engineered commercial foodservice equipment solutions. The Western Regional Sales Manager will work remotely in the West Region--Kansas West. Our client is recognized as a leader in its field with its reps, dealers, consultants, and chains.
Compensation is $120K plus a lucrative bonus opportunity of 35% or more.

Position Summary:

Responsible for developing and implementing regional growth strategies to meet or exceed sales and earnings objectives. You will work within the assigned territory calling on foodservice consultants, dealers, and chain operators. As the face of the company in the western territory, you will be a direct line of communication to our customer base to generate new opportunities and facilitate ongoing business with pre-existing customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development and implementation of channel go-to-market strategies within region including pricing, rebate programs, distributor programs, and product introductions.
  • Recognize trends and develop a vision to increase revenue and obtain larger market share.
  • Obtain market intelligence through independent reps, distributors, and trade focus (installers).
  • Develop a strong rep network to effectively serve the foodservice channel.
  • Build relationships and establish rapport with management of key customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.
  • Develop strategic plans to ensure both short and long-term growth.
  • Provide feedback to marketing, operations, and engineering departments on a routine basis.
  • Coordinate and assist with special sales and marketing projects upon request.
  • Travel approximately 50-75% building sales relationships with independent representatives, foodservice wholesales/dealers, consultants, chain accounts, end users and more.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business or related discipline preferred.
  • 2+ years territory management experience leading independent reps.
  • 2+ years successful sales experience with commercial products in the foodservice equipment industry preferred.
  • Experience within the foodservice B2B channel preferred.
  • Excels in virtual and in-person presentations.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Skillful listener, with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Must possess strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
